Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification beneficial
A minimum of 2 years in an administrative role in the academic sector
Experience in the creative industry beneficial

Key responsibilities:
Administer on-time registration of students on the MIS and LMS
Responsible for the accuracy of registered student data reflecting on the MIS and Quality assured against the admission requirements
Download attendance registers from the MIS from academic week one for implementation by the HOD/lecturers
Maintain student e-file weekly uploads and communication to students
Administer and track international student compliance and report weekly at Academic meeting
Provide administrative support to students
Prepare accurate assessment documentation for formative and summative sittings
Quality assures the grades captured by the HOD/Lecturer against the required assessment documentation
Administer the distribution of internal moderation in time between module coordinators
Providing students twice a year on time with an accurate academic transcript signed off by the HOD and ME
Manage the learner achievements for graduation and ensure accurate and in time submission to Support Office
Administer the short course offering
Attend open days
Required Skills:
Essential Qualifications & Experience: NQF 5 qualification in culinary arts / hospitality City and Guilds Diploma in Food Prep and Cooking / Patisserie beneficial CATHSSETA scoping beneficial Certified as an Assessor A minimum of 5 years relevant practical industry experience A minimum of 2 years lecturing / teaching experience Vocational POE and practical assessment experience Essential Skills: Knowledge of academic compliance within the vocational educational sector Vocational POE and practical assessment implementation and management experience Proficient in computer software apps social media and technology in general
