Waiter Waitress

We are looking for friendly professional and customer-focused Waiters and Waitresses to provide excellent service to customers in a restaurant café hotel or hospitality setting. The successful candidates will be responsible for welcoming guests taking orders serving food and drinks maintaining cleanliness and ensuring customers have a positive dining experience.

The ideal candidates should be polite well-presented hardworking reliable and able to work well under pressure in a busy hospitality environment.

• Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and explain food and drink options to customers.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve meals drinks and refreshments to customers.
• Ensure customer orders are delivered correctly and on time.
• Check on customers during service and respond to their needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables dining areas and service stations.
• Prepare tables before service and clear tables after customers leave.
• Handle customer questions requests and complaints politely.
• Support kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow hygiene food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Process bills and payments where required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

• Minimum secondary school education is preferred.
• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in hospitality is an advantage.
• Basic communication skills in Somali and English are preferred.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and move for long periods during shifts.
