Job Summary
- Perform installation commissioning testing and servicing of equipment and systems at customer sites.
- Diagnose equipment faults and carry out corrective repairs to restore systems to normal operation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities in accordance with service schedules and technical procedures.
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and end users.
- Inspect equipment condition and recommend necessary repairs replacement parts or system improvements.
- Prepare service reports maintenance records and technical documentation following each service visit.
- Coordinate with internal technical operations and spare-parts teams to resolve service issues efficiently.
- Guide customers on proper equipment operation routine maintenance practices and basic troubleshooting procedures.
- Ensure all service activities comply with applicable safety requirements quality standards and company procedures.
- Support equipment upgrades modifications sea trials or field testing where required.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Typically 25 years of hands-on experience in field service equipment maintenance marine engineering mechanical/electrical systems or a related technical environment.
- Candidates with relevant naval maritime or military engineering and maintenance experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong technical knowledge in troubleshooting maintenance repair and servicing of mechanical electrical electronic or marine equipment with the ability to interpret technical drawings wiring diagrams schematics and manuals.
- Good communication problem-solving and customer-service skills with the ability to work independently at customer sites and travel locally or overseas when required.
