Senior Project Manager Project Director (Construction)

Exciting opportunity for a very experienced project manager to join a well-established Singapore-based construction company specialising in large-scale building and infrastructure projects with a strong industry track record and a growing project portfolio.

Role:

• Lead and direct the full lifecycle of large-scale building civil and infrastructure construction projects (project value S$100 million and above) from pre-construction planning through to completion handover and defects liability.
• Take full accountability for project delivery cost schedule quality safety and contractual compliance.
• Lead site management teams subcontractors and consultants to ensure work meets design specifications quality benchmarks and safety standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients developers architects consultants and regulatory authorities (BCA URA SCDF PUB LTA NEA MOM).
• Drive strong Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) compliance and cultivate a proactive safety culture across all project sites.
• Identify assess and mitigate project risks; resolve critical issues and escalate as needed to senior/executive management.
• Oversee contract administration variation orders claims management and dispute resolution.
• Present project status reports cost forecasts and progress updates to senior leadership clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 18 to 20 years of relevant construction experience including at least 5 years in a senior project management or project director capacity.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale building infrastructure or civil engineering projects in Singapore.
• Strong working knowledge of BCA regulations Singapore building codes and local construction standards and approval processes.
• Professional certification such as PMP Professional Engineer (PE) or registration with PEB/BOA is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership negotiation contract management and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with project management and scheduling tools: MS Project Primavera P6 and BIM software.
