Job Summary

Our client is a leading Data Centre owner & operator in Singapore with a strong regional footprint powering Fortune 500 enterprises cloud and AI workloads. They operate Tier-3 / Tier-4 mission-critical facilities and are expanding their operations team due to growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for M&E Engineers who want to move from general building facilities into the high-growth high-paying Data Centre sector.

The Opportunity

You will be the guardian of 100% uptime for mission-critical infrastructure. This is not routine building maintenance - you will manage high-availability systems where every alarm SOP and decision matters. Structured training exposure to Green Mark ISO BCMS OSPAR certifications and a clear career path to Senior Engineer / Shift Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Operations & Maintenance:

  • Perform daily maintenance and operations of critical Data Centre facilities to ensure serviceability of all active and redundant equipment including routine critical system checks and functional testing
  • First responder to all Mechanical & Electrical alarms/faults - identify trends diagnose root cause and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor respond and investigate BMS / EMS alerts provide timely feedback handle emergencies and be available for standby duty
  • Support Data Centre projects A&A works site construction installations and testing - coordinate with external contractors and ensure adherence to operational standards and timelines

Technical & Customer Support:

  • Ensure contracted SLAs and KPIs are met and exceeded
  • Attend to customer requests deliveries installations and coordinate move-in / turn-on with Design Construction and Operations teams

Events Accreditation & Compliance:

  • Lead and support scheduling coordination and execution of all planned and emergency maintenance events in a controlled proven method
  • Support accreditation certification and compliance initiatives: BCA-IDA Green Mark DC QMS ISMS BCMS PCIDSS OSPAR
  • Strictly comply with SOPs MOPs EOPs and ERPs for critical environments

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent OR
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Data Centre facilities management / M&E building facilities / semiconductors / construction - we welcome candidates without degree but with solid experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of M&E critical systems (UPS Generators Chillers CRAH Switchgear)
  • Willing to commit to 24x7 rotating shift duty (Shift allowance provided)
  • Strong communication skills ownership mindset calm under pressure
  • Senior Engineer position available for candidates with more years of relevant Data Centre experience
