As Senior Corporate Counsel APAC Marketyoullprovidepractical legal guidance that supports commercial growth businessdecisionsand responsible risk management across APAC. Based in Singapore this role sits withintheLegal Compliance and Risk Management(LCR)teamand partners closely with business teams across the region.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Act astrustedlegaland business partnertodesignatedAPAC market business unitschannelsand partnershipsincluding LEGO Branded Channels.

  • Partner with People Partner & Culture teams ona broad range ofemployment matters across APAC includingemployee relationissues investigationsand strategic people initiatives.

  • Draft review andlead negotiation oncommercial agreements while supporting regional growth initiatives.

  • Support business expansion and transformation projects including new market entry andstrategic growth opportunities.

  • Mentor junior members and contribute to legal training knowledgemanagementand simpler ways of working acrossthe LCR teams regionally and globally.

  • Report to the Legal Director APAC Market while supporting the VP/GC for China & APAC onregional legal initiatives andteam priorities as.

This roleis located inSingaporeand no relocation support is offered for this role.

Working alongside colleagues across APAC and global specialist teamsyoullhelp buildrebuildand inspire responsible growth whileprotecting one of the worlds mostrecognizedbrands and supporting creative play experiences for children and families.

Do youhavewhat it takes

  • Qualified lawyer admitted inSingaporeor anotherrecognizedcommon lawjurisdiction.

  • Experience gained in both a law firm and an in-housemulti-nationalcorporate environment bringing balanced legal judgment and commercial awareness.

  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to provide practical business-focused advice in complex and fast-moving environments

  • Proven experienceadvisingoncommercial contracts employmentlaw competitionlaw regulatory and corporategovernancematters.

  • Strong negotiationcommunicationand stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of the business

  • Demonstrated ability tomanage a broad range of legal matters independently balancing legal risk withcommercialobjectivesand driving practicalsolutions.

What would be an advantage:

  • Experience supporting consumer goods retaillicensingor franchise-related businesses.

  • Familiarity with APAC marketsandworkedwith cross-functional teams

  • Additionalregional languages for communication with stakeholders or legal knowledge systems.
