The Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing projects from initiation through completion ensuring that project objectives are achieved within the approved scope budget schedule quality and safety requirements. The role involves managing project teams coordinating with clients and stakeholders monitoring project progress mitigating risks and ensuring successful project delivery while fostering a strong Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) culture.Job Description
About the role
Lead and manage project teams by assigning duties and responsibilities to appropriate team members.
Provide guidance training and coaching to project team members to strengthen their capabilities.
Manage allfacetsof project management including budget schedule procurement quality risk planning design construction occupancy and project close-out.
Deal directly with clients to define project requirements and prepare scope of work resource requirements cost estimates budget cash flow projections work plans schedules milestones quality control measures and risk identification plans.
Monitor project progress by tracking milestones deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Identifyand resolve issues that arise during project execution through effective problem-solving and adaptability.
Perform any other related duties asrequiredand directed.
Take accountability and ownership of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and outcomes while promoting a strong safety culture.
About you.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management Project Management Building ora relateddiscipline.
Registered member of the Society of Project Managers Singapore (SPMS) Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) orpossessequivalent professional qualifications approved by the Superintending Officer or Employer Representative.
Minimum5 years of relevant project management experience preferably in construction improvementworks orbuilding projects.
Familiarity with the submission and approval process of building plans with relevant statutory authorities.
Proven experience in managing project budgets schedules procurement quality assurance and risk management.
