M&E Tender cum Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender (75%)
  • Preparation of tender and contract documents including BQ
  • Prepare and analyse costing for tenders
  • Cost planning estimation and measurement of quantities
  • Assist in preparation of budget for M&E works
  • Sourcing for sub-contractors and suppliers and price negotiation
  • Support and tender multiple M&E projects concurrently
  • Lead pre-tender meetings and brief team members duties during estimate preparation and submission stage
  • Ensure tenders are well documented in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with client and internal departments
• Design (25%)
  • Prepare preliminary design drawing and design calculation
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Familiar with tendering project cost control in M&E work
• Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills meticulous
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels internally and externally in a professional and responsive manner

Key Information:

• Salary: SGD 3500 - 4500
• Location: Singapore
• Project Details: Major infrastructure railway project
