Lead Product Analyst, APAC Growth

Your mission will be to deeply understand the needs of APAC customers and help your team to focus on solving their most critical problems.

The focus of this team is to ensure that money moves in and out of Wise in the most seamless cost-effective convenient and fast way for customers. The goal for you in this role will be to focus on and affect the parts of our product that will help us scale 10x as we enable core functionality for global money transfers. 

Heres how youll be contributing:

• Youll derive actionable insights from data to inform product decisions which includes funnel analysis to optimize conversions across the customer journey from onboarding retention to reactivation

• Youll partner with Product Managers and other Analysts to set growth KPIs for the region and monitor the impact of new product features on conversion stickiness and engagement

• Youll own analytics for 2-3 APAC markets using data to identify and size growth opportunities measure performance and influence the product roadmap to accelerate market growth

• Youll help to understand our customers to uncover unmet needs to support on strategic product discovery research for new product opportunities  

• Youll help building conviction on high-value areas and challenging them if there are faster or more effective ways to grow the market

• Youll contribute to a collaborative open team environment by sharing ideas proactively and coach/mentor junior analysts to help them grow

Qualifications :

Ideal candidate would have:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a data driven and complex environment with limited guidance

• Strong analytical mind and product intuition

• Experience solving cross-market cross-regional and/or global growth problems across product marketing and/or 

• Technical skill-set in Python advanced SQL BI tools

• Experience working with technical teams (PMs engineers designers analysts) 

• Understanding of events data - Mixpanel / Google Analytics / Amplitude or similar

• Excellent data visualisation and presentation skills

• Hustler-mentality. You can take work beyond the analysis and get things done.

• Knowledge of utilities like Airflow/Github/DBT

Good to have:

• Knowledge of the fintech ecosystem

• Experience on funnel optimization

• Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning

• Experience (or interest) in coaching/mentoring junior analysts to help them grow
