Education required:Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/universitypreferably with a focus inEngineering including Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Pharmaceutical Engineering or Biomedical Sciences

Other requirements:Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship

Language requirement:Written and spoken fluency in English

Internship period:January to June 2027

What will you do

  • Process Improvement:Assistinidentifyingareas for improvement within the manufacturing processes. This may involve data collection analysis and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency reduce waste andoptimizeproductivity

  • Lean Manufacturing: Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies such as 5S Kaizen Value Stream Mapping and Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Data analysis: Collect and analyze data related to manufacturing processes equipment performance and production output. Use statistical tools and software toidentifytrends anomalies and areas for improvement

  • Project Support: Contribute to various projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes. This may include project planning coordination and execution as well as monitoring progress and reporting on outcomes

  • Documentation:Assistin creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) work instructions and other documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with different departments such as Quality Assurance Engineering Production and Supply Chain to support project initiatives

  • Training and development:Participatein training sessions to gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing processes

  • Problem Solving: Engage in problem-solving activities to address manufacturing issues and implement necessary actions
