Our team is seeking an Manager HSE in Singapore to provide visible safety leadership coaching guidance HSE program delivery and technical support across all Singapore sites. The role partners with site leaders managers supervisors and employees to strengthen ownership of workplace safety health environment and wellbeing while supporting effective implementation of Group/Regional HSE requirements and Singapore regulatory readiness.
What will you do:
- Safety leadership:Support all Singapore sites through regular engagement coaching and practical guidance so leaders and teams own day-to-day HSE performance.
- HSE systems and programs:Implement maintain and improve HSE programs covering risk incident contractor management operational controls policies procedures audits training and wellbeing.
- Regulatory and technical support:Provide practical advice to help sites meet Singapore workplace safety health environmental and fire safety obligations; liaise with regulators or external parties when required.
- Risk mitigation:Support site risk assessments critical controls corrective action closure and rollout of Group/Regional/Country risk management programs.
- Incident and injury management:Support reporting investigations learning reviews permanent corrective actions return-to-work and injury management processes.
- Audit and assurance:Plan conduct and follow up HSE audits and effectiveness reviews verifying implementation quality evidence standards and sustained action closure.
- Performance reporting:Use HSE systems and dashboards to communicate monthly KPI trends key risks and site performance in plain language for operational and senior management.
- Culture and capability:Deliver or coordinate HSE training support wellbeing initiatives and translate group/regional programs into practical Singapore site-level implementation.
About you:
- 710 years HSE experience preferably in multi-site automotive aerospace logistics facilities or mechanical operations.
- Strong record influencing operational leaders and strengthening site ownership of HSE performance.
- Experience implementing HSE programs and auditing effectiveness after rollout.
- Certified Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) Singapore.
- Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) Singapore.
- Formal HSE qualification: Degree Advanced Diploma Diploma or recognised OHS / Environmental certification.
- Incident investigation training; Lead Auditor qualification in OHS and/or Environmental management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HSE systems risk controls audit methods training delivery and regulatory compliance.
- Clear communicator able to convert data trends and findings into practical business actions.
- Strong coaching influencing planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE software/reporting systems; valid drivers licence preferred.
