To support Record to Report (RTR)s process optimization initiatives this role will be responsible for identifying process gaps and improvement opportunities simplifying and standardizing activities and driving automation and system enhancement across RTR.

The role partners with business users IT and transformation/Group Digital Office teams to translate business needs into practical solutions support implementation and change and sustain benefits post-implementation.

The role is also expected to provide operational support for RTR activities including month-end close financial accounting and reporting and other assignments based on business priorities and resource needs.

Make an impact by

  • Review existing RTR processes and identify opportunities for simplification standardisation and automation.
  • Work with process owners and users to understand business requirements and support process improvements.
  • Coordinate and track process improvements and transformation initiatives including timelines issues and deliverables.
  • Work with IT and automation teams on business requirements solution design and development.
  • Coordinate UAT implementation training and change management activities.
  • Monitor post-implementation results and identify areas for further improvement.
  • Provide guidance and ongoing support to team members for assigned initiatives
  • Support month end close activities including journals reconciliations balance sheet accounts review audit and any other RTR tasks as required.
  • Support other RTR activities or initiatives as assigned.

Skills for Success

  • Degree in Accountancy Finance Business or a related discipline; or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with exposure to financial operations accounting/ reporting and/or process optimisation & transformation initiatives
  • Good finance and accounting process knowledge
  • Process mapping and root-cause analysis
  • Experience supporting process improvement automation or transformation initiatives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office familiarity with Power Platform AI tools will be advantageous.
  • Good stakeholder management
  • Strong problem solving and analytical mindset
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisation prioritisation and coordination skills
  • Understanding of finance controls governance and audit requirements
