Finance BP Manager IT Projects (Capex & Opex)

About the roleChallenge current ways of working driving efficiencies and cost savings and execute the Overheads efficiency Strategy across the Global IT Function to support them in achieving their ambitious cost growth targetsFocus on IT Projects of Capex/Opex accounting treatmentsTo ensure accurate and timely financial management information is prepared for IT Stakeholders and key Leadership reviews with detailed analysis of spend presented in a highly accessible format to ensure adhesion of non-finance LeadersWork in close partnership with the individual Budget holders Portfolio Management Team and the Group consolidation team to provide accurate timely and comprehensive annual Global budgets as well as Monthly/Quarterly re-forecasts and actualsTo provide support for monthly Financial review meetings with Senior budget holders including the Global CIO and to act as a key point of contact to support the budget holders with commercial business capital and investment proposalsFeed into a monthly presentation of the Function Financial performance full year forecast and Budget variances including the reporting of Financial opportunities and risk To build strong relations across Group Finance and each Market and provide financial support to cost control decision makingSupport the development of relevant KPIs reporting and analysis in partnership with the Global Overheads Team Reporting Manager Review of monthly commitments and preparations of monthly accruals and prepayments reconciliations including timely follow up on queriesBe comfortable dealing with and working through issues and operational challenges with the Global IT Teams getting into the appropriate level of detail to ensure your understanding of their cost drivers and your ability to input into our Global Cost or Business Reviews Be dependent on your resourcefulness and ability to influence and partner with the Functions non-finance leadsAbout YouQualified AccountantProactive approach to business partneringDetail orientated but able to see the bigger minded and always driving for of process improvementExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh levels of integrityStrong technical skills especially in Excel and Financial Systems(SAP ideallyAbility to build working relationships with stakeholdersAbility to work to strict deadlinesFlexible in approach with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
