Design Coordinator

• Coordinate and manage structural and architectural design activities for tunnel construction and underground infrastructure projects.
  
• Review and coordinate design drawings technical specifications shop drawings and construction documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  
• Liaise with consultants architects Professional Engineers subcontractors and project teams to resolve design-related issues.
  
• Ensure proper coordination and integration of structural and architectural works with civil mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.
  
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies clashes and technical issues to minimise construction delays and rework.
  
• Assist in the preparation review and submission of design drawings method statements technical proposals and material submissions for approval.
  
• Coordinate with site engineers and construction teams to ensure that design implementation aligns with approved drawings and project specifications.
  
• Attend design coordination meetings technical discussions and site meetings with clients consultants and relevant stakeholders.
  
• Monitor design progress maintain drawing registers and ensure the timely issuance of updated drawings and documentation.
  
• Ensure all design coordination activities comply with relevant Singapore building regulations LTA requirements safety standards and project quality specifications.
  

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in structural and architectural design coordination preferably in tunnel construction underground infrastructure or major civil engineering projects.
  
• Good knowledge of structural and architectural drawings construction methodologies design coordination and relevant Singapore construction standards.
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of BIM Revit or Navisworks will be an added advantage.
  
• Strong communication coordination and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with consultants subcontractors and site project teams.
