As Legal Counsel forREMSAsia Pacific youwillreporttothe General Counsel to provide transactional legal support for regional and global clients across Asia Pacific. This role requires direct engagement with internal stakeholders clients vendors and third parties to deliver strategic legaladviceacross theREMSbusiness.
Key Responsibilities
Transactional and Contract Management
Review advise on draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts including support for tender responses and issue resolution
Develop draft andmaintaincontract templates to ensure consistency and efficiency
Provide practicalcommercially-focusedlegal guidance aligned with business objectives
Legal Risk and Compliance
Ensure firm and personnel compliance with relevant legal and ethical obligations
Develop and implement processes and procedures toidentifyand manage legal risks
Oversee regulatory compliance matters andmaintainadherence to applicable requirements
Deliver legal training to internal stakeholders
Dispute and Litigation Management
Manage disputes including HR-related matters and litigation oversight
Collaborate with external counsel when
Regional Collaboration and Process Improvement
Liaise with legal colleaguesbothacross Asia Pacificand globallyto ensure consistent delivery of legal services
Where required providein-country legal supportwithin Asia Pacific
Identifyand implement changes to improve operational efficiencies and refine legal processes
Required Qualifications and Experience
Professional Background
Minimum5years of post-admission legal experience
Qualified and admitted to practice lawin Singapore
Experience with complex commercial contracts preferred
Based in andpossessthe right to work in Singapore
