Job Responsibilities

• Prepare cakes pastries desserts chocolates and other pastry items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Support the daily operations of the pastry kitchen and ensure timely production of all required items.
• Assist in ingredient preparation baking decoration and finishing of pastry products.
• Maintain high standards of food quality consistency and presentation.
• Ensure proper handling storage and rotation of food items in accordance with food safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations equipment and storage areas.
• Follow standard operating procedures recipes and production schedules accurately.
• Assist with buffet banquet restaurant and special event pastry requirements as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies food hygiene regulations and workplace safety requirements.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a pastry kitchen bakery or hospitality environment.
• Basic knowledge of pastry preparation baking techniques and dessert presentation.
• Culinary or pastry certification is an advantage.
• Passion for pastry arts and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good understanding of food safety hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work shifts weekends and public holidays.
