Commercial Operations Specialist, Ikano Retail

To enable sustainable growth strengthening commercial excellence and ensuring a strong customer focus across our business we are now looking to fill up the Commercial Operations Specialists within the new commercial organisation covering the following functional areas:

As a Commercial Operations Specialist you will play a key role in driving commercial excellence across Ikano Retail. Reporting to the Commercial Leader in your assigned area you will support the execution of commercial strategies optimise ways of working and lead continuous improvement initiatives that create value for both customers and the business.

You will work across markets and functions to improve processes strengthen commercial operational capabilities and ensure IKEA retail solutions are effectively adopted and utilised.  Your role will help to create seamless customer experiences and enable sustainable business growth across the region.

Your assignment

• Support the respective Commercial Leader in delivering key priorities and developing the commercial agenda across Ikano Retail.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify improve and scale ways of working processes and retail solutions.
• Act as a key partner and subject matter expect for retail solutions within your function supporting implementation improvements and business adoption
• Drive the growth with impact agenda with IOS and Inter-IKEA
• Support countries on expansion matters when needed with commerciality
• Coordinate and follow up on the implementation of the IKEA Retail Review framework across markets supporting countries in executing review plans and building a competent and sustainable reviewer community.
• Serve as a trusted partner to country and functional stakeholders identifying capturing and sharing successful practices promoting collaboration continuous learning and commercial operational excellence.
• Partner with the Learning & Development team to identify training needs support capability development and coordinate training for country teams and store super users to ensure consistent knowledge competencies and ways of working across all markets.
• Maintain and develop key functional frameworks guidelines SOPs business requirements and service agreements to support effective efficient and aligned ways of working.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial Operations Specialists across all functional areas to ensure consistency synergies and alignment of commercial processes solutions and ways of working throughout Ikano Retail.

You bring:

• Commercial acumen Curious analytical mindset with the ability to drive solutions quickly
• Strong understanding of retail operations and customer journeys with prior experience working at the store level being an advantage.
• Deep knowledge of IKEA concept commitments & mandatories and how these should be executed on the shop floor
• Good knowledge of processes systems and ways of working and an interest in continuously improving them.
• Experience in supporting learning perform learning need analysis coaching facilitating training to different audience groups.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage influence and collaborate with stakeholders across countries and functions.
• The ability to lead and support change initiatives helping teams adopt new ways of working and build long-term capabilities.
• Capable in working with various retail systems to support business performance and operational excellence.
