Internship/ Project Description:

With engineers guidance to perform collect data and analyze on unusually complex experiments to develop the complicated physical vapor deposition (PVD) product

Job scope including:

a) PVD process optimization & measure metal film properties organize data/reports for review;

b) Perform hardware characterization on moderately difficult systems within safety guidelines;

c) With engineers guidance involve in troubleshooting moderately complex problems perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve moderately difficult process engineering issues

Learning Outcome:

  • Learn about the semiconductor industry and its forefront PVD technology
  • Appreciate the complexity of PVD technology and have hands-on experience in using the tools
  • Able to think critically and come up with creative solutions
  • Able to discuss findings and articulate ideas confidently
