As Associate Supply Chain Strategy & Management you will be primarily responsible for supporting supply chain projects to meet goals through effective resource management. You will develop systems to enhance supply chain performance ensuring manufacturing output aligns with customer needs.
Job scope
Review and assess Product Launch Requests (PLRs) and EPCRs during manufacturing review.
Request primary and secondary component part numbers from GDM.
Create packaging component specifications and progress the PLR from the Packaging Text stage to the next phase.
Create update and maintain material master records in SAP ensuring accuracy completeness and adherence to both local and global data standards.
Raise review and ensure completion of tickets for inspection plan setup control cycles PIR/QIR costing and LIMS configuration for new part numbers.
Approve artwork for all secondary packaging components.
Develop and approve CP label artwork.
Assessment of secondary Packaging components & primary components
Develop material specifications and key component drawings.
Prepare assembly instruction forms and pallet pattern documentation for secondary components.
Coordinate with local QA-RA to ensure CDPS availability and alignment with implementation timelines
Review & raise ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) for new or existing changes related to Bills of Materials (BOMs) routings and production versions
Create new SOPs update existing SOPs and perform periodic reviews for the department.
Support sustainability initiatives related to packaging improvements.
Conduct trials and testing of secondary packaging components on packaging lines to qualify new suppliers.
Set up new product launch & existing product changes within the Systech system across all packaging lines.
Coordinate with internal and external business stakeholders to ensure timely completion of development activities.
Prepare Document Correct Trend (DCT) reports and Non-Conformance Investigation (NCI) reports for any non-compliance issues.
What Youll bring to Alcon
- Degree in Engineering/ Supply Chain or related field
- Min 2 years of relevant experience in packaging in pharmaceutical or FMCG Industry
- Good knowledge in SAP or other related software
- Able to meet tight deadlines
