We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President Training & Competency.
Inthis role you will:
- Lead end-to-end Training & Competency (T&C) delivery which includes:
- Coordinating annual competency assessments; Conducting regular competency reviews;Verifying educational qualifications;
- Managing mandatory training and CPD requirements ensuring alignment with relevant rules and regulations;Conducting training relating to T&C and Supervisory responsibilities
- Reviewing and updating Rules & Regulations and Ethics modules for core CPD modules accreditation
- Responding to queries raised by stakeholders (audit compliance risk regulators)
- Partner with key stakeholders (Compliance Risk & Governance Channels) to identify and close performance or conduct gaps highlighted through customer complaints BSC insights and mystery shopping outcomes.
- Manage sales advisory standards (updating of sales manual) ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the implementation of sales advisory systems to embed these standards while enabling business growth.
- Compile data for reporting purposes.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated Training & Competency experience within the financial planning sector supported by relevant industry certifications (i.e. M5 M9 M9A HI M8 M8A)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders
