DWH Engineer Architect

Overview: We are looking for a DWH Engineer / Architect with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric and Azure to design and implement modern Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions. The role covers the full data platform lifecycle from architecture and database design through data pipelines and transformation to Power BI reporting and semantic models. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to scope solutions make architectural decisions and work directly with clients and development teams.

• Design and scope modern Data Warehouse / Data Lakehouse architectures on Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Define data architecture storage databases data models and integration patterns.
• Set up and develop Microsoft Fabric environments including Lakehouse Warehouse and related components.
• Design and implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Fabric and Azure services.
• Develop and optimize SQL-based data solutions data models and ETL/ELT processes.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized lakehouse / DWH platform.
• Design and implement Power BI reporting and semantic models on top of the data platform.
• Ensure solutions are scalable maintainable secure and aligned with Microsoft best practices.
• Assess existing BI/DWH environments and recommend modernization or migration approaches.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance documentation and knowledge transfer to client teams.
• Take a hands-on role in implementation while acting as a technical authority for the overall solution.

• Strong professional experience in Data Warehousing and Data Engineering.
• Proven experience designing and implementing Data Lakehouse architectures on Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure data services and architecture.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases / data warehouses.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of data modelling DWH architecture and modern data platform concepts.
• Experience with Power BI including semantic models reporting and data visualization.
• Ability to take ownership of architecture while remaining hands-on with implementation.
• Experience working directly with clients and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
