Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. We are looking for a strategic technology professional who can drive our cloud infrastructure continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and overall system reliability.
Job Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role requires a deep understanding of modern cloud technologies infrastructure as code and automation strategies.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform
- Develop and maintain comprehensive CI/CD pipelines using to GitLab CI
- Architect and manage containerization strategies using Cloud Managed Kubernetes
- Implement and maintain monitoring logging and observability solutions using tools like Prometheus Grafana
- Ensure high availability scalability and security of cloud environments across Azure and AWS
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment processes and improve system reliability
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols including access management network security and compliance standards
- Participate On-call activities
Advantages:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Azure DevOps Engineer or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer preferred
- Proven track record of successful cloud infrastructure and deployment projects
Requirements:
Required Technical Skills
- 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering roles
- Production-grade Kubernetes projects from the scratch (proven hands-on production experience with Kubernetes)
- Expert-level knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform CloudFormation or Pulumi)
- Advanced scripting skills (Python Bash Go)
- Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
- Strong background in CI/CD pipeline development (Gitlab CI Github Actions Azure DevOps)
- Application management using GitOps approach (FluxCD Argo CD).
- Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible Chef Puppet)
- Advanced understanding of networking security and system administration
- Experience with developing and implementing cloud spending strategies
- Monitoring: ELK Stack and CloudWatch
