Project Controls Lead

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced project management software
• Implement and oversee cost control systems to monitor project expenses and forecast future costs
• Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
• Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders
• Lead and mentor a team of project control specialists fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
• Develop and implement standardized project control processes and best practices
• Monitor project progress against established baselines and recommend corrective actions when necessary
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
• Participate in contract negotiations and change management processes

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project controls preferably in large-scale rail projects
• Proven track record of successful project delivery and team leadership
• Advanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Strong knowledge of cost control and forecasting tools
• Experience with risk management software and methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing project control teams
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Additional certifications in project controls or cost management (e.g. CCP EVP) are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and familiarity with local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
