We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic food and beverage team in Kigali Rwanda. As a Waiter/Waitress you will be the face of our establishment delivering exceptional service that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will serve as an ambassador for our cuisine and hospitality standards combining warmth efficiency and genuine care to ensure every guest feels valued and appreciated. • Greet and welcome all guests with a warm professional demeanor in accordance with our highest service standards
• Serve guests efficiently and courteously demonstrating attentiveness to their needs throughout their dining experience
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items including ingredients preparation methods and potential allergens
• Provide informed recommendations and suggest complementary food and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience
• Actively promote hotel offerings and special promotions demonstrating sales initiative through thoughtful upselling
• Handle all cashier duties accurately and responsibly including processing payments and managing transactions
• Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff bartenders and fellow team members to ensure smooth service delivery
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization of dining areas tables and service stations
• Remain calm composed and courteous when managing multiple guests and high-pressure situations
• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting team members and taking on additional responsibilities as needed to meet business demands
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly with empathy and professionalism

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a hotel restaurant or food and beverage establishment (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage guests authentically
• Exceptional ability to focus on guest needs while maintaining composure and courtesy under pressure
• Proven problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in challenging situations
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with a supportive inclusive attitude toward colleagues
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with an organized approach to work
• Knowledge of food and beverage products menu items and allergen awareness
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to recognize upselling opportunities
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm
• Reliable punctual and committed to consistent performance
• Willingness to learn adapt and grow within the role
