Travel Staff Accountant

For one of our customers we are looking for a Travel Staff Accountant. This is initially a 12-month assignment with the possibility of extension.

Our client is currently going through a period of rapid growth and high transaction volume particularly in the area of employee travel and expense management.

The Travel Staff Accountant position combines core accounting responsibilities with the unique challenge of managing travel-related expenses vendor relationships and reconciliations. Youll play a key role in ensuring accuracy efficiency and compliance in our financial operations-all while contributing to the bigger mission: enabling clinical trial sponsors and sites to navigate complex high-stakes patient interactions with confidence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process customer pass through expenses related to patient travel.
• Process credit card statements and other travel vendor statements.
• Quality assurance and travel transactions entry into product database.
• Weekly/monthly reconciliation of travel product data to general ledger.
• Travel vendor management.
• Prepare and accrue for monthly travel revenue file.
• Prepare and post all travel journal entries in NetSuite.
• Contribute to monthly quarterly and year-end financial close cycles including transactional processing.
• Provide support for audit requests from external and internal auditors.
• Assist with special projects and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Build consensus collaborate and support team members departmentally and across the organization.
• Drive efficiency and bring issues to light quickly with effective communication.

• Bachelors degree in accounting preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Previous accounting experience required.
• Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
