Senior. Strategic Sourcing Specialist mfd

As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Honeywell you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings improve supplier performance and ensure supply chain continuity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders manage supplier relationships and optimize procurement processes.

You will report directly to our Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager and work from our Lugoj Romania location on a hybrid (32) schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the supplier base for assigned components ensuring high performance in delivery quality and cost efficiency.

• Support EMEA HLS projects and coordinate procurement activities for allocated components.

• Identify and onboard new suppliers (local and international) lead RFQs evaluate proposals and support supplier selection decisions.

• Negotiate pricing delivery and contractual terms and finalize supplier agreements.

• Drive or support supply transfer initiatives to optimize cost and footprint.

• Maintain accurate supplier data in MRP and OneSource systems and monitor supplier performance through KPIs and reporting.

• Participate in supplier audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.

• Solid expertise in sourcing negotiation and contract management with an understanding of market dynamics.

• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

• Experience supporting transitions involving engineering and production stakeholders is an advantage.

• Fluent in English; strong data analysis skills (Excel PowerPoint); SAP knowledge is a plus.
