About the Role
As a Senior Associate in EMEA AC you will work as a full-time member of engagement teamsacross theUK GermanytheNetherlandsorotherEMEAcountries gaininginternational experience withoutrelocating.
This role reflects the expectations of a fully accountable Senior Associate with responsibility for managingvariousaudit areas exercising professional judgment coaching junior team members and engaging directly with clients and stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Your Key Responsibilities
Work withdifferent overseasPwCnetwork firmsand EMEA AC colleagues on financial audit engagements and contribute to improvements in audit quality
Perform financial statement review proceduresin accordance withauditing standards andmethodology.
Conduct and execute advanced audit procedures on complex areas of the financial statements including review of policiestest of details evaluation of qualitative aspects etc.
Delegate tasks provide guidance and coaching and review the work of junior team members.
Stay up to date with changes in audit methodologiestechnologiesand client requirements.
Collaborate with engagement teams and internal stakeholders and clients contributing to effective communication riskescalationand issue resolution.
Contribute to a positive team environment by understanding roles and responsibilities and seeking guidance and feedback when needed.
Show resilience anddemonstratededication to self-development including being agile and innovative in the digital world.
WhatWereLooking For
Education: Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a relevant field.
Experience:2 year of experienceinFinancialAudit
Languages:Proficiencyin business Englishconfidentlyconversing with clients and colleagues (knowledge of other languages is an advantage).
Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and clients.
Stronganalyticalandproject management skillsto handle complex client needs.
Adaptabilityto thrive in a fast-changing regulatory landscape and willingness to embrace ongoing learning.
Experience with IFRS and familiarity with international auditing standards
Progress in ACCA or other internationally recognized certifications or openness to enrolling
Proficiencyin using Excel and other MS Suite 365
Willingness and curiosity in using AI & applying digital mindset
