Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer that is responsible for provisioning configuring and monitoring the infrastructure resources for systems hosted in our Azure cloud environment. We strongly believe in the value of GitOps DevOps and DevSecOps.

We are building a Cloud Application Platform team to accelerate our migration out of the datacenter and fuel our modernization. Our team believes the full lifecycle of cloud systems (deployment maintenance retirement) should be managed via code.

Our team is challenged to maintain NIST security standards and understands GitOps processes are the key to meeting this challenge. As we continue our move into the cloud we plan to support a wide range of development teams who are looking to modernize their applications via a container-first strategy.

Your deliverables as aSenior DevOps Engineerwill include but are not limited to the following:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Development & Management:

• Design develop andmaintainreusable Terraform modules for provisioning and configuring cloud resources across Azure environment

• Implement and manageIaCpipelines for automated infrastructure deployment updates and decommissioning

• EnsureIaCpractices adhere to security policies compliance requirements and industry best practices

• Automation & CI/CD:

• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for bothinfrastructure and application deployments integrating security best practices

• Automate routine operational tasks security checks and compliance reporting

• Integrate and administer Test automation and Application Security tools for continuous code quality checks

• Involve design andestablishaSource Code Management framework in GitHub withaneffective branching strategy.

• Work with team members in understanding various Student Lending Applications spectrum.

• Create Implement andmaintainautomated CI/CD Environments for various legacy applications.

• Enhance and support existing automation scripts and Plan and upgrade all automation related tools asrequired

• Oversee all builds anddeploymentsof releases to Non-Production and Production environments.

• Provide support during Production Releases and aswell asall interim environmental releases.

• Assistwith the identification of environmental issues and provide corrective actions.

• Proactivelyidentifyprocedures to streamline and automate the delivery process.

• Research and implement new tools for the development and execution of Test Automation Scripts.

• Interact with Operation Teams to build and manage the artifacts for Production deployment.

• Document all procedures related to the processes and tools developed.

• Identifyestablish and manage Proof of Concept (POC) environments and report on design outcomes.

• Monitoring health and performance of Development QA and Performance environments and execute relevant maintenance tasks or fixes.

• Enforce andmaintainEnvironment and Application Security based on established policies and procedures.

• Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field and7 years of experience in software development systems engineering/design.

• Minimum3 years of practical experience inDevOps CI/CDAutomation Build and Delivery Operations.

• Extensive experience with scripting languages PowerShell Batch Shell

• Extensive experience with CI/CD Tools in Azure DevOps (VSTS).

• Experience with Cloud Delivery Methodologies using Microsoft Azure Products and Technologies.

• Experience with a variety of relevant technologies including HTML5 PowerShell JavaScript CSS Java C# XML REST SQL/NoSQL Angular NodeJS Redis.

• Experience in automating build and release of changes forInRuleRules Engine Microsoft CRM Dynamics and Microsoft Power BI is a plus

• Involve design andestablisha Source Code Management framework in GitHub with an effective branching strategy.

• Work with team members in understanding various Student Lending Applications spectrum.

• Modify existing pipelines and write automation scripts for building deploying andmaintainingapplications.

• Create Implement andmaintainautomated CI/CD Environments for various legacy applications.
