QA Automation Engineer

Play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through a balanced approach of manual testing (50%) and test automation (50%). With a strong focus on collaboration and innovation you will work closely with developers and manual QA team members to design implement and improve our testing processes.

Tasks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to design and execute both manual and automated test cases.
• Develop maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Execute and analyze automated test suites identifying defects and suggesting process improvements.
• Perform manual testing for complex scenarios or where automation is not feasible.
• Document and maintain test plans test cases and test reports.
• Advocate for testing best practices and contribute to the improvement of QA processes.
• Assist in root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to debug and resolve issues.
• Support the transition from manual to automated testing by mentoring team members and promoting automation adoption.

Requirements

• 4 years in QA including 2 years in test automation
• Experience with automation tools (e.g. Playwright Cucumber)
• Familiar with MySQL/MariaDB and REST API testing
• Proficient in JavaScript or similar
• Solid understanding of SDLC and agile
• Hands-on with Git GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using Jira Xray or similar tools
• Performance testing knowledge (JMeter K6) is a plus
• Experience with or interest in using AI development assistants such as Claude Code Cursor OpenAI Codex ect.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
• iGaming industry experience is a plus
