Project Management Specialist 1 Project Costing

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensures project costs (estimates and actuals) are accurately integrated into project planning scenario.
• Responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections.
• Liase with the finance team to ensure project reporting and accounting is in accordance with Company guidelines.
• Analyze exection performance of project(s) and propose action plans to improve financial profile and mitigate identified risks.
• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Take over the sourcing activities from site.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma with significant relevant experience) in a commercial or business-related field or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in Project Management and/or Project Costing.
• Solid understanding of financial principles and practical experience in financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Romanian local legislation and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in SAP (or equivalent ERP systems).
• Advanced MS Office skills with a focus on Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent command of English and Romanian both written and spoken.
