What Youll Do
Manage timely and efficient purchasing of metallic raw materials (e.g. scrap)
Identify and engage new suppliers across the European market
Analyze and optimize the procurement process to improve quality reduce costs and enhance compliance
Support internal stakeholders by verifying technical specifications and sharing market insights
Track and report key metrics to support informed decision-making
Ensure contract execution and coordinate optimal logistics (land sea or air)
Conduct supplier visits and manage long-term procurement partnerships
Your Profile
Degree: Economics Engineering or related field
Driving License: Category B required
Languages: Advanced English Advanced Italian is a must
Skills: Microsoft Office (especially Excel) data analysis procurement tools
Mobility: Willingness to travel to Italy Dalmine at least 1 week / month
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement purchasing sourcing commodity trading sales or supplier management.
Experience in industrial sectors such as steel metals recycling raw materials manufacturing logistics or other B2B environments.
Proven experience managing commercial relationships and negotiating with suppliers.
