Job Summary
Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (with Exadata)
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with deep expertise in Oracle Exadata environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimizing and securing mission-critical Oracle databases to ensure maximum availability performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer monitor and maintain Oracle databases in Exadata
environments (on-premise or Cloud). - Perform database installation configuration patching upgrades and migrations.
- Manage database performance tuning storage allocation and capacity planning.
- Implement and maintain backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and Exadata performance issues.
- Collaborate with system administrators developers and application teams to ensure database reliability and scalability.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripts and tools (e.g. Shell Python or Ansible).
- Ensure data integrity security and compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
- Monitor Exadata hardware components (cells InfiniBand storage servers) and coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database environments configurations and procedures.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or
related field. - 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA including 2 years with Exadata.

Strong expertise in Oracle Database versions 12c 19c or later.

Proven experience with Oracle RAC ASM Data Guard and RMAN.
- Solid understanding of Exadata architecture smart scan storage cells and IORM.

Familiarity with performance tuning (SQL tuning AWR ASH OEM).

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Exadata is a plus.

Strong scripting skills (Shell PL/SQL Python preferred).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Exadata certification is a plus.
