Job Summary

Works Inspector – Irrigation

Location: Doha Qatar
Project: Roads & Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect irrigation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications method statements and project requirements.
  • Monitor installation of HDPE/uPVC pipelines valves chambers sprinklers drip irrigation systems controllers and related irrigation components.
  • Carry out site inspections and maintain records of daily activities and progress.
  • Witness testing and commissioning of irrigation networks including pressure testing flushing and operational testing.
  • Verify materials delivered to site are approved and comply with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors consultants and project teams to resolve site issues.
  • Prepare inspection reports snag lists and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Ensure works are executed in accordance with QCS project specifications and HSE requirements.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Agricultural Engineering Irrigation Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in irrigation inspection works within roads and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in irrigation networks HDPE pipelines valves chambers sprinklers drip irrigation systems and irrigation controllers.
  • Familiarity with testing and commissioning of irrigation systems.
  • Good knowledge of QCS and infrastructure project standards.
  • Experience working on major roads and utilities projects in Qatar.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Valid Qatar driving license is preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience on consultant-supervised roads and infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with Ashghal standards and procedures.
  • Experience in landscape irrigation systems associated with roads parks and public realm developments.
