Welder ARC & TIG 6G
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Perform ARC (SMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding in 6G position on pipes and structural components.
Read and interpret welding drawings WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and isometric drawings.
Prepare materials by cutting grinding beveling and aligning pipes before welding.
Ensure welding joints meet required quality standards and specifications.
Conduct root pass filler and capping with proper penetration and finishing.
Maintain welding equipment tools and consumables properly.
Follow all industrial safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Coordinate with supervisors inspectors and QA/QC team during fit-up and inspection.
Perform repair and rework of welds as required.

Requirements
Proven experience as ARC & TIG Welder (6G certified preferred).
Minimum 35 years of industrial welding experience (oil & gas fabrication or heavy industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of pipe welding techniques and welding symbols.
Ability to pass welding qualification test (6G position).
Familiar with safety standards in industrial work environments.
Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and elevated areas.
Basic English communication skills.
Technical/vocational certification in welding is an advantage.
