Job Summary

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading technology solutions and services provider in Doha Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced Virtualization Architect to design implement and manage enterprise-grade virtualization solutions that enhance infrastructure efficiency scalability resilience and performance across on-premise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design end-to-end virtualization architecture blueprints covering compute storage network and cloud integration.

- Plan and manage resource allocation workload placement high availability and disaster recovery strategies within virtualized environments.

- Lead and oversee the implementation of virtualization solutions in collaboration with infrastructure cloud and engineering teams.

- Configure manage and optimize virtual machines virtual networks and virtual storage resources.

- Develop a virtualization strategy aligned with business objectives IT standards scalability performance security and cost efficiency.

- Establish and maintain monitoring processes to track virtualization infrastructure performance capacity and health.

- Implement integration with cloud platforms to ensure service continuity scalability and high availability.

- Perform regular maintenance activities to ensure system stability security and minimal downtime.

- Identify troubleshoot and resolve performance availability and capacity issues within the virtualized environment.

- Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline virtual machine provisioning lifecycle management and operational efficiency.

- Maintain clear technical documentation architecture diagrams standards and operational procedures.

- Stay current with virtualization technologies cloud platforms and infrastructure best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science IT or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in VMware infrastructure management.

- At least 3 years of experience in software-defined storage (VNX).

- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud virtualization and high availability management.

- Strong hands-on expertise in enterprise virtualization platforms and infrastructure operations.

- Proven ability to design implement and support highly available and scalable virtualized environments.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex infrastructure issues.

- Experience working with cross-functional IT teams and stakeholders.

Certifications:

- VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX)

- VMware Certified Professional Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)

- Microsoft Azure Foundation

- Google Cloud Foundation
