Telecom Engineer

Job Title: Telecom Engineer

Duration: 3-6 Months

We are hiring an experienced Telecom Engineer for an Oil & Gas project in Qatar.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications Electronics Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Proven hands-on experience with telecom systems and related operations within Oil & Gas facilities.

• Experience in the installation testing commissioning maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial telecom systems.

• Familiarity with one or more of the following systems is preferred:

  • Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA)

  • CCTV Surveillance Systems

  • Telephone & IP Telephony Systems

  • Fiber Optic Networks

  • Radio Communication Systems (VHF/UHF/TETRA)

  • Structured Cabling

  • Data Networks

  • Access Control Systems

• Ability to read telecom drawings layouts and technical documentation.

• Experience in refineries petrochemical plants LNG facilities gas processing plants or offshore/onshore Oil & Gas projects is preferred.
