Job Summary
Job Title: Telecom Engineer
Duration: 3-6 Months
We are hiring an experienced Telecom Engineer for an Oil & Gas project in Qatar.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications Electronics Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Proven hands-on experience with telecom systems and related operations within Oil & Gas facilities.
Experience in the installation testing commissioning maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial telecom systems.
Familiarity with one or more of the following systems is preferred:
Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA)
CCTV Surveillance Systems
Telephone & IP Telephony Systems
Fiber Optic Networks
Radio Communication Systems (VHF/UHF/TETRA)
Structured Cabling
Data Networks
Access Control Systems
Ability to read telecom drawings layouts and technical documentation.
Experience in refineries petrochemical plants LNG facilities gas processing plants or offshore/onshore Oil & Gas projects is preferred.
