Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our automation team. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end SCADA system design implementation and project execution while mentoring engineers and ensuring successful delivery of complex industrial automation projects.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the design configuration integration and implementation of SCADA solutions across multiple industries.
- Define and develop User Requirement Specifications (URS) and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Prepare detailed software and hardware design specifications.
- Lead the development testing deployment and documentation of SCADA applications.
- Develop system validation and testing protocols ensuring compliance and quality standards.
- Oversee procurement and specification of software hardware and licenses.
- Prepare scope of supply documents and technical proposals.
- Estimate engineering effort and man-hours for project execution.
- Manage and technically lead SCADA project delivery from start to commissioning.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely high-quality delivery.
- Lead on-site installation testing commissioning and system start-up activities.
- Provide technical guidance and training to operators engineers and client teams.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical team members.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- B.E. in Electrical Electronics Mechatronics or Computer Engineering from a recognized institute.
- 78 years of relevant experience in Automation / SCADA engineering roles.
- Minimum 23 years of proven experience in a technical leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong hands-on experience with SCADA platforms such as AVEVA System Platform FactoryTalk WinCC or equivalent systems.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server environments SQL databases and industrial networking.
- Experience in supervising field installations including cabling containment and instrumentation is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Candidates currently available in Qatar with a valid transferable work visa will be preferred.
