DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Diploma in Instrumentation or equivalent with minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in the Supervision of Installation Test Calibration and Loop Checking of Pneumatic & Electronic Instrumentation DCS ESD PLC F&G SCADA for Petrochemical Refinery Oil & Gas and onshore Projects. The Candidate must be familiar with all kinds of Instrumentation Drawings Datasheets Specifications International Standards MTO Test Reports and Progress Monitoring of Instrumentation projects. Must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of various process equipment’s. Must be capable of executing QA/QC / HSE compliance audits on site procedures and HSE Plan. Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages. Meets all the requirements for Instrument Technician. Shall have competency to work on HART and Foundation Field Bus based instruments. Must be able to undertake Pre-Commissioning and Functional Testing on new installations. Can read and understand drawings and functional logic diagrams cause and effect matrices and control and IPF narratives. Must have experience in and be proficient in Certified Hazardous area equipment. Should demonstrate the understanding of HSSE issues and familiar with various types of permit to work. Must have the ability to program the menu driven Transmitters. Must have ability to communicate in English and work independently. Gulf experienced will be preferred.
