Job Summary
Job Objective:
Provide accurate technical evaluation of construction and maintenance projects including reviewing technical proposals bills of quantities and execution plans.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review construction and maintenance proposals and analyze technical specifications.
- Audit Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and verify quantities when needed.
- Evaluate contractors’ schedules and execution plans.
- Compare execution methodologies and identify technical differences between bidders.
- Review compliance of materials and works with standard specifications.
- Prepare technical evaluation reports for construction projects in coordination with committee members.
- Develop project management methodology including improving evaluation procedures setting performance standards adopting best practices to ensure quality execution studying modern technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs and providing recommendations related to implementing and developing digital project management systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in construction or maintenance projects.
- Knowledge of Bills of Quantities planning methods and contract management.
- Experience in developing project management methodologies setting performance standards and applying global best practices.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate schedules compare execution methodologies and identify technical differences between bidders.
- Ability to prepare accurate technical reports and coordinate with technical and administrative committees.
- Familiarity with modern technologies in the construction sector to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
