• 5 years of overall API platform experience
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM API Connect
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
• Strong development experience
• API design and development using REST APIs and microservices
• API Security:
  • OAuth 2.0
  • OpenID Connect (OIDC)
  • JWT
  • mTLS
  • API Key Management
• CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps
• Git version control and branching strategies
• API troubleshooting debugging and performance tuning

• Experience with Java and front-end development experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect and Azure APIM.
• Implement API policies security transformations routing throttling and caching.
• Develop and maintain -based APIs and integrations.
• Handle on-demand production support and critical incident resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive fixes.
• Conduct peer reviews and code reviews for APIs and applications.
• Review API designs for scalability security and enterprise standards compliance.
• Support CI/CD and deployment automation activities.
• Mentor team members and promote API governance best practices.
