Senior HVAC Design Engineer (FEED/Detailed Engineering)
Duration: 1 Year (Extendable)
Location: Doha Qatar
Client: One of the leading Oil & Gas consultants in Qatar
Role Summary
Looking for a Senior HVAC Engineer with 12 years of consultant-level design experience focused on HVAC engineering design solutions for oil & gas projects in FEED and detailed engineering stages only.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed heating/cooling load calculations duct and pipe sizing HVAC equipment selection and specification
- Prepare and review HVAC design drawings layout plans and calculation reports for oil & gas facilities
- Develop technical specifications and design documentation for tender and project execution phases
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design outputs
- Review contractor/supplier submittals drawings and ensure compliance with design intent
- Adhere to QCS ASHRAE SMACNA and other relevant HVAC design codes and standards
- Participate actively in technical design reviews and project coordination meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 12 years experience in consultant engineering firms with a strong design focus in oil & gas projects
- Expertise in HVAC design tools such as HAP AutoCAD and Revit
- Excellent understanding of local Qatar codes and international HVAC standards
- MMUP/UPDA or equivalent certification preferred
Note: We will only consider profiles with a focus on design engineering and oil & gas consultancy firms experience. Profiles related to maintenance/supervisor or site-related are not considered for this position.
