Role

• The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
• Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project plans and specifications determining material and labor requirements collaborating with project teams preparing bid documents and ensuring cost-effective planning.
• The role requires close coordination with procurement design and project management teams to provide accurate and timely assessments of project costs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cost estimation budget preparation and cost control specific to civil engineering projects
• Strong analytical skills ability to assess technical drawings project specifications and contracts
• Experience with estimation or project management software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong understanding of construction methods materials and civil engineering standards
• Excellent communication teamwork and negotiation skills
• Experience in the industrial commercial or logistics construction sectors is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline with professional certification as an asset
• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or similar role within the construction or civil engineering industry
