Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Senior Document Controller to join our Roads Operations and Maintenance team in Doha this critical role you will be responsible for managing and controlling all project documentation ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Develop implement and maintain document control systems and procedures
- Manage the receipt distribution and filing of all project documents and technical drawings
- Ensure all documents are properly coded stored and easily retrievable
- Coordinate with project teams to gather and organize necessary documentation
- Perform regular quality checks to maintain the integrity and accuracy of document databases
- Prepare document control reports and maintain up-to-date document registers
- Assist in the development and implementation of document control best practices
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve documentation issues
- Ensure compliance with local Qatar regulations and standards related to document control
- Train and guide junior document control staff as needed
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control preferably in roads operations and maintenance
- Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of database management filing and archiving systems
- Experience with construction or engineering projects
- Excellent technical writing and editing skills
- In-depth understanding of quality control procedures
- Knowledge of roads operations and maintenance processes
- Familiarity with construction and engineering documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards in Qatar related to document control and record-keeping
- Document Control certification (e.g. IDCA) preferred
