SCM Business Support Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional support to business users for Oracle EBS SCM processes functionalities and customizations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend process improvements.
• Analyze existing business processes identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
• Gather document and validate business requirements for system enhancements and new functionalities.
• Work closely with IT teams to implement enhancements automation initiatives and process improvements.
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues impacting supply chain operations.
• Support the implementation of new Oracle EBS features and functionality enhancements.
• Prepare detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) functional specifications workflow diagrams and process documentation.
• Conduct testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements and changes.
• Recommend and support the development of reports dashboards and business intelligence solutions to improve decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop training materials and conduct user training sessions and demonstrations.
• Evaluate current operational procedures and recommend improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Assess the operational and financial impact of proposed system and process changes.
• Present findings recommendations and improvement opportunities to management using data-driven analysis.
• Perform ad-hoc business and operational analysis to address ongoing and one-time business challenges.

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Information Systems Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• MBA or relevant professional certifications will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Support Consultant Functional Consultant or Business Analyst supporting Oracle SCM.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management modules.
• Experience working directly with business users and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements.
• Experience in system enhancement projects process improvement initiatives and user support activities.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
• Extensive experience with Oracle EBS iProcurement Purchasing and Sourcing modules.
• Experience with Services Procurement is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS Order Management Inventory and Warehouse Management System (WMS) modules.
• Experience with Mobile Supply Chain applications is highly preferred.
• Oracle SCM Cloud end-user experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis workflow design and system documentation.
• Experience in report generation dashboard development and business analytics.
• Ability to analyze data issues and recommend corrective actions.
