Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily and scheduled inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with CISRS/NOC standards and project specifications.

  • Enforce offshore HSE requirements including permit-to-work systems confined space entry and working-at-heights protocols.

  • Implement and maintain scaffold tagging (green/amber/red) to indicate scaffold status and safety.

  • Prepare inspection reports maintain scaffold registers and submit NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when required.

  • Liaise with scaffold foremen supervisors and multi-discipline teams to ensure safe access solutions.

  • Confirm scaffold load ratings and suitability for intended work activities.

  • Provide toolbox talks and guidance to scaffolders on safe erection modification and dismantling practices.

  • Support emergency response drills and ensure scaffold safety during adverse weather or evacuation scenarios.

  • Verify scaffold materials fittings and erection methods against approved standards.

  • Recommend improvements in scaffold design and safety practices to enhance offshore operations.



Requirements

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Technical Certificate in Engineering or relevant trade.

  • CISRS / TUV / equivalent Scaffolding Inspector certification.

  • Minimum 57 years offshore scaffolding experience including inspection roles.

  • CISRS Level 1 & Level 2 Scaffolding Inspector

  • BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)

  • Basic H2S Training

  • Permit-to-Work System Training

  • Rescue at Height Training

  • Work at Height Training

  • MOSI (QLENG Project Training)

  • IIF (QLENG Project Training)

  • Heat Stress Training (QLENG Project)
