Scaffolding Inspector Offshore
Job Summary
Responsibilities
Conduct daily and scheduled inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with CISRS/NOC standards and project specifications.
Enforce offshore HSE requirements including permit-to-work systems confined space entry and working-at-heights protocols.
Implement and maintain scaffold tagging (green/amber/red) to indicate scaffold status and safety.
Prepare inspection reports maintain scaffold registers and submit NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when required.
Liaise with scaffold foremen supervisors and multi-discipline teams to ensure safe access solutions.
Confirm scaffold load ratings and suitability for intended work activities.
Provide toolbox talks and guidance to scaffolders on safe erection modification and dismantling practices.
Support emergency response drills and ensure scaffold safety during adverse weather or evacuation scenarios.
Verify scaffold materials fittings and erection methods against approved standards.
Recommend improvements in scaffold design and safety practices to enhance offshore operations.
Requirements
Qualifications
Diploma / Technical Certificate in Engineering or relevant trade.
CISRS / TUV / equivalent Scaffolding Inspector certification.
Minimum 57 years offshore scaffolding experience including inspection roles.

CISRS Level 1 & Level 2 Scaffolding Inspector
BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)
