Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Develop and manage annual budgets forecasts and financial models to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
Ensure compliance with Qatars financial regulations tax laws and auditing requirements including coordination with external auditors.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and KPIs identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Oversee accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and cash flow management to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Implement and maintain internal controls and financial processes to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support business planning initiatives.
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals fostering a culture of accountability continuous improvement and professional development.
Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations for senior management and board members.
Stay abreast of evolving financial regulations industry trends and technological advancements in financial systems.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; CPA CFA or ACCA qualification is highly preferred.
25 years of progressive experience in financial management within the Financial Services industry.
Proven experience in budgeting forecasting financial reporting and regulatory compliance in a Qatari or GCC-based environment.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling data analysis and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics).
Excellent knowledge of IFRS Qatari tax regulations and local financial reporting standards.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and financial dashboard tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities with a track record of developing talent.
Exceptional analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
Fluency in English; Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage.
Willingness to travel within the GCC region as required.
