Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to perform maintenance troubleshooting calibration and repair of instrumentation and control systems in a petrochemical oil & gas or industrial environment. The role requires ensuring the reliability availability and safe operation of plant instrumentation while adhering to company safety and maintenance standards.

Qualifications & Experience
Education (Any One of the Following)
  • High School/Secondary (12th Grade) or 10th Grade with Vocational Certification with a minimum of 4 years of relevant maintenance experience.

  • 2-Year Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.

  • 3-Year Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 1 year of relevant maintenance experience.

Requirements
  • Fluent in English (Speaking Reading and Writing).

  • Experience in Petrochemical Oil & Gas Refinery Power or Process Industries preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation control systems and maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting maintenance calibration and repair of pneumatic electronic digital and smart instruments.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain PLC DCS ESD TMR (Triconex) and other control systems.

  • Calibrate and test field instruments transmitters analyzers and control devices.

  • Perform maintenance and overhaul of control valves and associated instrumentation.

  • Conduct functional testing of safety-critical systems including emergency shutdown fire & gas and interlock systems.

  • Read and interpret P&IDs loop diagrams logic diagrams and electrical drawings.

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures.

  • Maintain calibration records and documentation in compliance with quality standards and ISO requirements.

  • Support maintenance activities related to compressor controls vibration monitoring boiler controls and process automation systems.

  • Ensure proper use care and maintenance of tools test equipment and calibration instruments.

  • Collaborate with Operations Engineering and Maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.

  • Participate in safety programs training initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

  • Train and support junior technicians and team members as required.

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping safety and environmental compliance.
