R135 INSPECTOR (BLASTING PAINTING)

Overview:

• MANDATORY - Engineering Degree / Diploma

• MANDATORY - One of the following certifications: BGAS Level 2 or 1 NACE Level 2

or FROSIO Level 3.

• MANDATORY - Minimum 5 years of post-certification experience is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC requirements coating data sheets codes and

standards such as NACE ASTM ISO SSPC etc.

Primary Functions:

• Report to the Project QC Manager / Coating Technical Lead on all painting and

coating quality issues and any revisions required.

• Coordinating with site painting supervisor and other discipline QCs and execution

leads on all quality-related matters.

• Ensure painting procedures are properly distributed implemented and kept

updated at site.

• Verify that painters and grit blasters possess valid qualifications and adequate

training.

• Ensure all painting activities are carried out in accordance with approved

procedures and specifications.

• Ensure sufficient and appropriate inspection instruments are available to meet

project requirements.

• Ensure calibration and validity of all inspection and measuring equipment.

• Liaise with Clients and Third-Party Inspectors to resolve any quality issues during

project execution.

• Ensure painting inspection reports are prepared reviewed and submitted as per

contract requirements.
