Job Title: QA/QC Technician – Rotating Equipment

Location: Qatar

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a QA/QC Technician – Rotating Equipment to conduct inspections test machine performance verify quality documentation and ensure full compliance with approved specifications for critical rotating equipment. This role is responsible for overseeing installation quality verifying material certificates and executing inspection test plans in a petrochemical/oil & gas maintenance setting.

• Equipment Inspection & Testing: Inspect centrifugal and reciprocating compressors pumps steam turbines motors and gearboxes. Test machine performance and review technical documents.

• Quality Verification & Alignment: Verify installation quality including laser alignment field alignment coupling checks lubrication systems and seal assemblies.

• Document & Quality Control: Verify material certificates vendor documents and ensure strict compliance with quality control procedures and approved specifications.

• ITP & Checklist Development: Develop inspection test plans (ITPs) and comprehensive QA/QC checklists for all rotating equipment.

• Problem Resolution & Coordination: Identify investigate and analyze quality issues and support technical problem rectification. Coordinate all inspections in alignment with the planning schedule.

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Industry Experience: 5–7 years of maintenance experience in the petrochemical industry including at least 5 years in a supervisory position within an Oil & Gas environment. Condition monitoring experience is preferred.

• Computer Literacy: Working knowledge of SAP MS Office and MS Project preferred.

• Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English at a professional/business level. Arabic is strongly advantageous.

• Safety & Medical: Complete awareness of Oil & Gas safety requirements with relevant safety training. Must pass pre-employment medical (Fit for Duty).
