Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified QA/QC Supervisor – Rotating Equipment to oversee the quality control and mechanical integrity of rotating machinery (compressors steam turbines pumps fin fans) during routine maintenance and turnaround execution. This role acts as the primary focal point for all inspection activities ensuring full compliance with international engineering codes quality control procedures and OEM specifications in an Oil & Gas environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance & OEM Compliance: Ensure equipment repairs meet or exceed OEM specifications international codes and quality control procedures.

  • Inspection & Turnaround Point of Contact: Act as the primary focal point for all inspection activities during turnaround execution completing inspection control sheets and tracking progress.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare review and maintain inspection test plans (ITPs) material test reports (MTRs) technical inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

  • Cross-Functional Engineering Support: Support Rotating Equipment and Condition Monitoring Supervisors with technical solutions and process adherence; coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to resolve performance issues.

  • Site Meetings & Communication: Attend regular site meetings to provide updates on inspection progress technical findings and quality control issues.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education & Work Experience (Mandatory):

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR

    • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.

  • Industry & Leadership Experience: 8–10 years in petrochemical maintenance including at least 5 years in a supervisory role within an Oil & Gas environment. Condition monitoring experience is preferred.

  • Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of SAP MS Office MS Project and Primavera P6 preferred.

  • Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English at a professional/business level. Arabic is strongly advantageous.

  • Safety & Medical: Complete awareness of Oil & Gas safety protocols; pre-employment medical fitness required.
